The walk Abu Dhabi does every evening: from Khalidiya Park, revamped in 2026 with an air-conditioned walking track, onto the Corniche promenade past the free Al Sahil beach and the family gates, west along the sand to Al Bahar beach, and over the Breakwater causeway to the Heritage Village, where the whole skyline faces you across the water.
Best time: The last hour before sunset to an hour after, October to April. In summer start after sunset; the beach stays open until 22:00 (midnight Friday-Sunday).
