Beijing's first hutong museum, in the courtyard where writer Ling Shuhua was born and held a salon for Xu Zhimo, Qi Baishi and Tagore's party in 1924. It is run by the neighbourhood office as a place for residents' cultural activities, with a model of 130 courtyards, two rooms furnished as 20th-century homes and recordings of more than 70 old hutong street sounds. It rarely gets crowded.
