A ring-shaped lake dug by volunteers in 1958 between Sanlitun and Guomao, with a jogging circuit popular with local seniors and groups of women square dancing or practising tai chi in the square by the east gate. In summer its man-made beach and outdoor pool are one of the most popular in town; visitors to Sanlitun rarely know it is there.
