Bantabaa means 'meeting place' in Mandinka. It opened on Wrangelstrasse in 2015 as an integration project for West African refugees, and Olivia and Siyaka now run it independently. Order domoda, The Gambia's peanut stew over rice, or yassa chicken in mustard-onion sauce, with tamarind lemonade.
