Berlin's red-brick town hall (1861-1869, Hermann Waesemann), seat of the Governing Mayor. East Berlin's city hall during the division, it has been the united city's seat since 1991; the state rooms such as the heraldic hall with the district coats of arms are free to visit on weekdays.
