UNESCO-listed estate of 1,379 small flats built 1929-1934 for Siemens workers, commissioned by city planner Martin Wagner from six architects: Gropius, Scharoun, Bartning and Häring of the group 'Der Ring' (hence 'Ringsiedlung'), plus Forbát and Henning. Each left a personal signature, so the rows make a walk-through comparison of 1920s Modernism.
