Budapest's shortest Danube bridge, opened in 1896 for the Millennium. Franz Joseph started the machine that drove in the last rivet, made of silver and carved with his initials. It links the Great Market Hall with the Gellért bath.

Good to know
- On some summer weekends the bridge closes to traffic and locals picnic, dance and do yoga on it.
- Look for the turul bird statues on top of the bridge.
- It was once painted blue and grey before returning to green.
