Europe's largest open-air railway museum, opened in 2000 in MÁV's former northern engine shed: more than 100 vehicles on 70,000 m2, from an 1870 steam engine to the "Chaika" railcar. You can climb into the cabs, ride a hand car, turn the giant turntable and even drive a locomotive with an instructor.
