Andrássy Avenue to Heroes' Square and City Park: a walk in Budapest

The UNESCO-listed boulevard from the Opera House past Oktogon, the House of Terror and Kodály körönd to Heroes' Square, then into City Park to Vajdahunyad Castle and the Széchenyi Bath.

Best time: Morning, starting with the Opera and ending with an afternoon soak at Széchenyi; the M1 metro runs under the avenue if you want to skip a stretch.
