The wooden three-storey house the poet Tevfik Fikret designed himself and lived in from 1906 until his death in 1915; he chose the spot for its panoramic Bosphorus view and is buried in its garden. Upstairs are his study, desk, drawings and death mask; the first floor covers poets Abdülhak Hâmid Tarhan and Nigar Hanım.
