A 1559 Mimar Sinan madrasa right next to Hagia Sophia, built for Cafer Ağa under Suleiman the Magnificent. Since 1989 it has been a centre for Turkish classical arts where calligraphy, ceramics and jewellery are taught, made and sold around a garden courtyard.
