The 490 m bascule bridge of 1994 across the Golden Horn between Eminönü and Karaköy, the fifth on this spot since 1845. Anglers line its railings day and night, and the deck gives sweeping views of the Süleymaniye and the old city on one side and the Galata Tower on the other.
