The stone-clad arts complex by Vittorio Gregotti and Manuel Salgado faces the Jerónimos across Praça do Império: concert halls for music, theatre, dance and opera, the MAC/CCB museum, and south-facing terraces over the Tejo. Lisboetas use it as much for the river light and the gardens as for the shows.
