The small museum of the Portuguese presidency sits in the pink palace where the President works, opposite the Belém riverfront. It starts with the national symbols and ends with the powers and work of the presidents; on Saturdays museum staff lead visits through the state rooms, the chapel and the President's official office.

- On the 3rd Sunday of each month at 11:00 the GNR cavalry and guard perform the Render Solene da Guarda, the ceremonial changing of the guard, on Rua de Belém.
