Good to know
- On 13 June, Santo António day, entry is free for everyone.
- Step into the Igreja de Santo António next door (1767), built where a 15th-century chapel marked the saint's birthplace; his image and an azulejo-lined underground passage survived the 1755 earthquake.
- The EUR 8 combined ticket also covers the Roman Theatre two minutes uphill.
