The free Treasures Gallery holds two of the four surviving 1215 Magna Carta manuscripts, Shakespeare's First Folio and Beatles lyrics in their own hand. Students and writers fill the building all day, and George III's King's Library stands at its centre.

Good to know
- Go up to the third floor near the map room for the view down onto the King's Library tower
- The lower ground floor has audio booths with nature sounds, world music and spoken word, and is much quieter
