Two free contemporary art galleries on either side of the Serpentine Bridge in Kensington Gardens: Serpentine South, opened in 1970 in a Grade II listed 1930s tea pavilion, and Serpentine North. It also commissions the temporary Serpentine Pavilion, a series of architect-designed summer structures.
