Cathedral of St. John the Divine

Place of worship

The largest cathedral in the world, begun in 1892 and still unfinished, so New Yorkers call it 'St. John the Unfinished'. It belongs to the whole city: every October the Blessing of the Animals for the Feast of St. Francis draws pets and their people from all over the city, and in spring the Blessing of the Bikes opens cycling season.
