A 1.45-mile freight railway, out of use from 1980, replanted as a park in 2009: wild-looking planting, rails left in the beds and framed views down the cross streets of the West Side. Walk it south to north and finish at Hudson Yards, or north to south to end at the Whitney and Chelsea Market.
