Founded in 1976 by the Ukrainian National Women's League of America and built with the community's own money, the largest museum of its kind outside Ukraine. Its folk-art collection of festive and ritual dress, ceramics, metalwork, carved wood and pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs) sits beside paintings by Ukrainian artists from Nikifor to Krychevsky.
