A free city museum of nearly 400 ancient sculptures from Egypt, Mesopotamia, Cyprus, Etruria, Greece and Rome, collected by Giovanni Barracco and donated to the city. Since 1948 it has been housed in the Piccola Farnesina, a small palazzo built in 1523.
