A kiosk at Via Trionfale and Via Telesio, just past the Vatican, opened in 1933 and now run by the third generation. The ritual: queue at the separate cash desk, pay, take your scontrino to the kiosk, then get your cup. Amarena, tamarind and orange, mango and papaya, coconut are the favourites.
