A working pharmacy in the former convent apothecary of the Carmelites, who made and sold remedies here until 1954 and earned it the name 'pharmacy of the popes'. The historic spezieria keeps 18th-century wooden cabinets, a frescoed ceiling, mortars, alembics and jars of theriac.
