Mauro Codussi rebuilt this church in 1492 on its old Greek-cross plan. Inside, Palma il Vecchio's polyptych of St Barbara in the Bombardieri chapel and Bartolomeo Vivarini's 1473 Madonna of Mercy triptych are the two pieces to find.
