"Willow Shade Park": a lake made from old brick-kiln pits in 1958, landscaped in 1984 as a country-style park with farmhouse buildings, bamboo, lotus ponds and more than ten kinds of willow. The Beijinger says it has the charm of Beihai with a fraction of the crowds; mandarin ducks breed on the lake.
