A Kangxi-era guild hall of Zhejiang silver merchants with one of China's oldest all-wood opera stages, three storeys open on three sides. Cheng Changgeng, Tan Xinpei and Mei Lanfang all performed here; today it stages Kunqu and Peking opera; the city tourism office calls it a 'living fossil' of theatres.
