The world's first anti-war museum, founded in 1925 by pacifist Ernst Friedrich, closed by the Nazis in 1933 and reopened in West Berlin by his grandson Tommy Spree. It turned 100 in 2025 and still runs with volunteers, showing photos, letters and objects from both World Wars.
