The largest of Berlin's six UNESCO-listed Modernism housing estates and the reform movement's reference project: terraces and multi-storey blocks around a central pond, on land the city bought in 1924 and had built by the housing companies GEHAG and DeGeWo on either side of Fritz-Reuter-Allee.
