A short walk in south Neukölln between two Berlins: the Horseshoe Estate of 1925-33, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the medieval village of Britz with its fieldstone church and manor house. Start at U Parchimer Allee (U7). Britzer Garten is a 20-minute walk further south-west if you want to add a large park.
Best time: Friday or Sunday afternoon, when the estate's info station is open (14:00-18:00); in spring the Schloss Britz park is at its best
