Many call it Pest's finest Baroque church. The Paulines, Hungary's only home-grown monastic order, built it from the 1720s on land where an Ottoman-era mosque stood. The main altar shows the Birth of Mary by Antal Lipót Conti, under a copy of the Black Madonna of Częstochowa.
