Hungary's first Japanese garden, laid out in 1928 by Márton Varga in the grounds of the horticultural school he founded, and still kept to the original plan by its students. A pond with stepping stones, a giant sequoia and a symbolic gate; legend says Prince Takamatsu visited and sent plants.
