A grand unfinished mansion begun by deputy Bolulu Habip Bey with profits from the WWI grain and bulgur trade, later held by the Ottoman Bank, looted in the 1955 pogrom and abandoned. Bought by the city in 2021, it opened on 28 February 2024 as a library and cultural centre with about 25,000 books and documents.
