Completed in 1734-35 for grand vizier Hekimoğlu Ali Pasha, it is the last major monument of the classical Ottoman style and the last mosque with a hexagonal baldaquin dome. Its garden complex has a library over the main gate, a tomb and an ornate corner sebil.
