Once the outer garden of Topkapı Palace and now the oldest public park in the city: 9.7 ha of towering plane trees, where gray herons nest, sloping towards the tip of the peninsula. In spring and summer more than 80,000 roses bloom here, and thousands of tulips fill the beds in spring.
