The jewels and treasure of the Portuguese crown, shown in the west wing of the Ajuda palace: more than 900 pieces in 11 sections, from Brazilian gold and diamonds and the royal insignia to diplomatic gifts and the Germain silver table service. Part of the treasure was lost in the 1755 earthquake.
