Opened in 1946-47 as the Adega da Lucília by the fadista Lucília do Carmo, mother of Carlos do Carmo, who ran it in the 1960s and 70s; today Lenita Gentil and António Rocha lead a cast that Carminho praises for no improvisation, just careful fado and good food.
