Founded in 1938 as a taberna, coal shop and grocery when Marvila was farmland, now a casa de pasto run by Dona Gina, the founder's granddaughter (NiT, Culinary Backstreets). The charcoal grill rules: pataniscas with feijão malandro on Tuesday, entrecosto à transmontana on Thursday, iscas on Friday. It was once called the 'RTP canteen' for the TV faces who ate there.
