The church at the northern end of Old London Bridge; when the bridge was widened in the 18th century, the new footway was routed under its tower. T. S. Eliot praised its 'inexplicable splendour of Ionian white and gold' and called it one of the finest of Wren's interiors. Inside is a 4-metre model of the medieval bridge, lined with houses.
