London's only surviving galleried coaching inn, rebuilt in 1676 after a Southwark fire, owned by the National Trust since 1937 and the only purpose-built London pub listed Grade I. The Parliament Bar keeps very old woodwork, a one-handed clock and a rare set of Victorian 'cash-register' handpumps.
