Mystic and author Manly P. Hall founded this centre for philosophy, religion and esoteric studies in 1934; its two-level library holds his rare books, an Amida Buddha carving, and courtyard tiles said to come from Glastonbury Abbey. Los Feliz locals come for screenings, concerts and talks; few visitors know it is open to the public.
