Home of the Cristo de Medinaceli, a 17th-century Seville-carved Nazarene that arrived in Madrid in 1682. Every Friday madrileños file past to kiss his foot, and on the first Friday of March thousands queue for the great besapié, attended every year by a member of the royal family.
