A Movida bar opened in 1976 at the corner of Palma and Corredera Alta de San Pablo, immortalised in Antonio Vega's 'La chica de ayer', which still marks closing time every night. It was the first Madrid place to mix bar and disco, and the 1980s soundtrack still plays.
