A convent of Augustinian nuns founded in 1611 by Queen Margarita, wife of Felipe III, by Juan Gómez de Mora: the model of Madrid baroque. Its reliquary holds some 700 pieces in bronze, coral, ivory and fine woods, and the convent keeps the famous relic of San Pantaleón; Ventura Rodríguez redecorated the church in 1755-1775.
