Princess Grace started these shops to give Monegasque craftswomen an outlet; today about 150 local makers sew, embroider and paint for them and all profits go to the Princess Grace Foundation for sick children. The Rock shop sells embroidered table linen, wooden kitchen pieces and hand-painted ceramics: the one gift shop on the Rock that is genuinely Monegasque.
