Woolworth Building Lobby Tour

Monument

Cass Gilbert's 1913 'Cathedral of Commerce' was the world's tallest building until 1929, and its lobby is one of the great interiors of New York: a 60-foot vaulted marble hall with mosaic ceilings and gold leaf, seen on the only authorized tour, which also goes down to the original safe-deposit vault.
