Zona Sul's only cemetery (1852) is an open-air museum of marble and bronze, and the resting place of Tom Jobim, Carmen Miranda, Santos Dumont, Cazuza and Clara Nunes. Cariocas rarely visit outside All Souls' Day; it is a calm, moving walk.
