Good to know
- Go for the room and the sweets. Folha (2025) found the savoury food poor and overpriced, with desserts the exception: a pastel de nata or the passion fruit and banana tartlet.
- Expect a queue (Folha says there always is one); it opens at 11:00 and closes at 18:00.
- House classics: biscoito Leque, sold in a tin, and torrada Petrópolis (Diário do Rio).
