The only monumental square in the historic centre without a church: a morning market of wooden stalls (here since it moved from Piazza Navona in 1869) by day and an aperitivo square at dusk, watched over by Ettore Ferrari's statue of Giordano Bruno, burned alive on this spot for heresy on 17 February 1600.

- Walk one block to Piazza Farnese, whose palace has housed the French Embassy since 1874.
- The Fontana della Terrina, the lidded tureen-shaped fountain that once stood here, is now in front of the Chiesa Nuova.
