A walled garden of bitter orange trees on the Aventine, laid out in 1932 on the site of the Savelli family fortress to give Rome a public belvedere to match the Pincio and Gianicolo. The belvedere terrace has one of the best views of the city; the central square is named after Fiorenzo Fiorentini, who staged a summer theatre season here for many years.
