Rebuilt by Paschal I in the 9th century with an apse mosaic; it keeps Arnolfo di Cambio's 1293 ciborium and, in the Benedictine nuns' choir, Pietro Cavallini's Last Judgment (1289-93), one of the key works of Roman medieval painting.
